【Forward Information】2021 NTU Plus Academy Global Vision Workshop - Pandemic & Change (Online)

Located in the heart of Taipei, National Taiwan University (NTU) is Taiwan’s flagship university and one of the world's leading research institutions. It has been recognized as a global leader in research and education. Since 2010, the Office of International Affairs manages and supports NTU Plus Academy (Short-term Programs for International Students), and offers more than 20 topic-based short-term programs for international students. This summer, NTU Plus Academy presents the 2021 Plus Spotlight programs for high school (Grade 10 and above) and university / college students to gain academic and networking experience in NTU.*Global Vision Workshop - Pandemic & Change (Online)*Enrichment Program- Smart Earth & Better World Global Vision Workshop and Enrichment Program provide students with a comprehensive overview of challenges and change factors in our world. These programs feature the most respected professors from their fields at National Taiwan University. The professors will explain profound concepts in their respective fields, students will also discuss and reflect on their learning. Academia Sinica is the most eminent research institution in Taiwan and is also equipped with national laboratories. At present, there are 24 institutes and 8 research centers grouped into three divisions: Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and the Humanities and Social Sciences. This year, we would like to invite foreign students who are currently in Taiwan to join us for the 2021 TIGP-IIP Summer Internship Program. The TIGP-Internship Program, in collaboration with 10 top-ranking local research universities in Taiwan, is an effort to bring young talents to experience Taiwan's top-notch scientific research and to build up an intellectual network for people with different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Global Affairs OfficeResidential Life On-Campus DormitoryInternational students (degree student and short-term student) are given the priority to YZU's Dormitory. YZU has two on-campus dormitories which are the 1st and 2nd Dormitory, each with a Male and Female Dormitory. All international student will be arranged to The 1st Dormitory. Global Student Association GSAGSA is a student association under the supervision of the Global Affairs Office. The members of GSA comprises of International Students and Oversea Chinese Students. GSA serves as a bridge between foreign students and school authorities, channeling the students' voice to the school and passing down information from the school to the students. GSA also holds events and festivals to bond Taiwanese and international students. The events include the International Cultural Festival, Mid-Autumn BBQ Party, Christmas Party, Dragon Boat Festival, Beach Cleaning, Islamic Celebration, and many more.
